Absolutely! You can attend one of our Sip & Mingle events as our guest to see if the SBA is a good fit for you.
Great Question! The SBA was started by local business owners for local business owners. We have a vested interest in the community, collaboration, and commerce that takes place here. The Chamber serves a great purpose of promoting our town while the SBA promotes the businesses and the business owners growth and development.
No. Actually, a lot of our members are based outside of Sisters, but still offer some form of products or services to our local community ranging from staffing, education, finance, and more.
Most SBA events are included with your membership. In some cases, events may be hosted in partnership with other organizations or involve additional costs beyond what the SBA can budget. When that happens, SBA members receive discounted—or complimentary—access whenever possible, ensuring members always receive preferred pricing and added value.
We believe the more active you are, the more value you'll get. That being said, we have priced our packages to add sufficient value to even the most passive members. Our members do business with other members, which is usually an immediate pay off. Our marketing drives local and visitor traffic to your location. Your business will be featured on our website and in our online community. And many of the members offer discounts to other SBA members saving you money and achieving our goal of increasing your bottom line.
No. We welcome brick-and-mortar, mobile, or virtual businesses that serve our community.
While individuals can have multiple businesses, a separate membership is required for each business receiving benefits from the SBA.
The Sisters Business Association supports business growth through community, collaboration, and commerce by connecting local owners through education, strategic networking, shared marketing, and collective visibility—helping businesses grow stronger together.
While the SBA does provide a lot of social and networking opportunities, these are all a small part of the bigger picture; increasing your bottom line. Through education and collaborative commerce events, we strive to help you grow your business and create a sustainable and thriving Sisters business community.
When you sign up you pay for a full year and we immediately get to work for you; printing your name tag, adding you to our member directory and online community, and connecting you with other members. Because of this, there are no refunds. There is no commitment beyond your first year, but we strive to always make the value far exceed the cost and earn your continued membership and support.
